The Block Guard provides the added strength to the cylinder sleeves preventing micro-fractures from forming due to unstable flex. Designed to turn an open deck to a semi-closed deck and expand and contract at the same rate as your engine block, our Engine Guard will not warp nor fracture under high pressure creating destructive hotspots around the cylinders. Our block guard will not create stress or heat points on the cylinder sleeves substantially reducing the potential for sleeve breaches during extended use. Our guards are highly recommended for forced induction or nitrous builds. Built in coolant passages allows proper cooling of the engine. BlackPath Engine Guards are CNC Machined from T6061 Billet Aluminum to exact tolerances for maximum strenght and resistance. The properties of this metal allow the block guard to expand and contract at the same rate as your engine block. Comes complete with our decreasing radius dowels, making for a precise fitment and installation.
