Pike Trail Forager's Bag

Handcrafted in the USA by our local Pike Trail Seamstress Artisan, Paula. This bag was made in Missouri with repurposed, unused, Pike Trail Gaiters and a mesh liner. In today's world of online sales we often receive returned gear from wrong addresses, order cancelations, etc. and we wanted to give these products a new life instead of tossing them in the dumpster. So we transformed them into the ultimate Foragers Bag! 

The Pike Trail Mushroom pouch is designed to hold your harvest of morel mushrooms as you search the Spring woods for this annual forest delicacy. The mesh allows the spores to fall to the ground for new growth next year. Use it for any other edible mushroom as well, such as Chicken of the Woods, Lion's Mane, Oyster mushrooms, Chanterelles, Maitake and Lobster mushrooms.

It also doubles as a great fruit harvesting bag. Great for picking blackberries, apples, strawberries, peaches and pears or any other fruit for that matter!

Its great for taking the kids fruit picking as well. We've designed it so that its not too big and cumbersome but still plenty big enough for large harvests!

The bag measurements are 12" W x 14" L. 7-9" Round Open. Top Band 4" sides. The bag with shoulder strap length is 30"
