This medium soft rubber Air-Lock Grommet seal fits in the lid of your fermentation vessel or brewing bucket so that an airlock can be inserted.
The AirLock Grommet ensures the gas produced by the fermentation passes through the airlock and prevents air getting in to the fermenter.
The yellow airlock grommet fits in a 15mm hole.
The hole in the grommet is designed to hold a standard airlock.
If you are drilling a hole in a plastic lid for this grommet, we would recommend using a 15mm spade bit.
