Product Description The TOF050F Time-of-Flight Distance Sensor Module is a compact and high-precision ranging solution based on the VL6180 chip. It measures distances up to 50cm (max) with a 0-2cm blind zone, making it ideal for robot obstacle avoidance, UAV altitude hold, positioning detection, and vehicle anti-collision projects. This module uses 850nm infrared emission and a 25° field of view for stable short-range distance measurement. It supports UART serial, Modbus, and IIC communication modes, giving developers flexible integration options for different controllers and systems. Operating voltage is 3.0V-5V DC, making it compatible with many embedded platforms. For easy development, routines and software support are available for Arduino, STM32F103RCT6, Raspberry Pi, and PC debugging, along with a full serial command set. The board features a dedicated optical cover for dust protection and optical filtering, plus a shielded design to help reduce electromagnetic interference and protect peripheral circuits. A PH1.0mm 6-pin connector enables convenient plug-and-play wiring, while M2 gold-plated mounting holes make installation easier in compact projects.
