It is integrated into the body of the abrasive holder's movable clamp and allows real-time monitoring of the sharpening angle with an accuracy of up to 0.1°.It has a durable aircraft aluminum body resistant to vibrations and can be used in temperatures from 0°C to +40°C. The built-in battery charges via a USB Type-C cable.Each Axicube-I is calibrated at the factory. Before first use on a new surface, you must calibrate it using a special calibration plate to set an initial reference angle. If you move the K03 Pro to another surface, you will need to calibrate the angle finder again.Axicube-I is not intended for measurements other than sharpening. Its correct operation is guaranteed only with K03 Pro and it is not compatible with other TSPROF or third-party sharpeners.One-Hand Stepless Angle SettingThe K03 Pro has a rack-and-pinion height adjuster with a sliding part featuring toothed gearing, which allows stepless adjustment of the sharpening angle in the range from 10° to 39° (from 8.5° with fillet clamps) with a total angle of up to 78°.The height adjuster has an additional rod that can be used either to increase the angle to the maximum value or to compensate for stone thickness and can be locked with a screw on both sides of the body.The sliding part is driven by a brass-toothed wheel and connected to the matching part with a dovetail, ensuring absolute precision when setting the angle. The steel-brass pairing provides smooth movement of the slide.The angle measurement scale is laser-printed on the front side of the slide for visual control of the angle setting.One-Hand Hassle-Free Knife FlippingThe unique semi-automatic turning mechanism can be activated with adjustable pressure and features reliable auto-locking. Thanks to the system of springs and bearings, the clamping frame rotates without wearing out the mechanism. The permissible error when turning the clamping frame is 0.3°.Flat-End or Backed Stones up to 8" LongThe universal abrasive holder has no metal backing plate (compared to older K03 versions) and allows you to use abrasive stones both with and without a backing plate. The special geometry of the abrasive clamps secures the abrasives as firmly as possible.The high-rigidity steel rod has an increased length of 694 mm. It consists of two parts connected with an aluminum sleeve coupling featuring a three-point mounting system that provides maximum alignment.The coupling is locked with a convenient thumbscrew that allows one-motion locking.Universal Whole-Milled ClampsThe whole-milled clamps are made of high-strength anodized 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum.
